Can a foreigner set up a limited liability company without a PESEL?
Three routes to a signature
- A PESEL, then a trusted profile. The most common route. Once you have a PESEL, you set up a trusted profile and sign the agreement in S24.
- A qualified electronic signature. If you already have one, you can sign the agreement with it instead of a trusted profile.
- A notary. The company agreement can also be concluded at a notary, and then you do not need an electronic signature in S24.
How we help with a PESEL
PESEL help costs 100 PLN per partner. Our form prints a completed PESEL application, which you submit at the office. When you receive the number and set up your trusted profile, you load the saved data and finish the process, without filling in everything again.
What else every partner needs
- an account in the court system that lets you sign the agreement,
- a valid identity document whose details we enter into the application.
The form is in Polish, Ukrainian and English, and it checks the data as you go (PESEL, dates, document validity).
Frequently asked questions
Can I start filling in the form without a PESEL?
Yes. You save the data to a file and load it later, when you receive the PESEL and set up your trusted profile.
Does PESEL help guarantee the number?
No. We help prepare the application, and the decision and the timing are set by the office.
Do I have to be in Poland to set up a company?
Check the requirements for residence and documents before you begin, because they depend on the partner's situation. If you are not sure, write to us.
